The Untold Story of the Modern Generation of Christians – Part 5

By Bro. Benney

Introduction: The Evidence of Revival

Revival is not just an idea or a feeling—it is something that transforms lives. I have seen it with my own eyes. When God moves, everything changes. Hearts are set on fire, addictions are broken, and entire communities are turned upside down for Christ.

In this part of the story, I want to share real-life testimonies of what happens when a generation chooses to follow Jesus without compromise. These are not just stories from history books—they are happening today.

Testimony 1: The School That Turned into a Prayer House

I remember visiting a high school where a few students decided to take their faith seriously. It started with just two or three young believers who met every morning before class to pray. At first, nobody noticed. But as they remained faithful, others began to join.

Soon, the group grew to ten, then twenty, then fifty. Teachers began to take notice. Some were skeptical, but others were amazed at how the students' lives were changing. Those who used to be rebellious became humble. Those who struggled with depression found joy. The atmosphere in the school shifted.

By the end of the year, an entire classroom was dedicated to prayer, and many students gave their lives to Jesus. What started as a small fire became an unstoppable movement.

Testimony 2: The Addict Who Became an Evangelist

I met a young man who was deep in addiction—trapped in a cycle of alcohol, drugs, and self-destruction. He had grown up in church, but the pressures of life had pulled him away. He believed God had given up on him.

One night, he found himself in a revival meeting, not because he wanted to be there, but because a friend had invited him. During the service, the presence of God overwhelmed him. He fell to his knees, weeping, as the power of God set him free.

That night, his addiction was broken. No rehab, no withdrawal symptoms—just complete deliverance.

Today, he is a street evangelist, boldly preaching the gospel to others who are lost in addiction. The very chains that once held him down have become the testimony that sets others free.

Testimony 3: The Church That Chose Revival Over Tradition

There was a church that had become dry—no passion, no hunger for God. People attended out of routine, but there was no true encounter with Jesus. The pastor himself admitted that even he felt distant from God.

One day, a group of young believers decided to fast and pray for their church. They did not complain or criticize; they sought God.

After weeks of prayer, something changed. The worship became alive. The sermons carried power. People began repenting and confessing their sins openly. Miracles started happening—not because of a guest preacher or a revival event, but because the people had made room for God.

Today, that church is a place where many have encountered the Holy Spirit. All because a few people refused to settle for religion without relationship.

The Power of One Yes

Every great move of God starts with one thing: someone saying YES.

  • One student in a high school said yes, and it led to a school-wide revival.
  • One addict said yes, and now many others are being set free.
  • One church said yes, and now lives are being transformed.

The question is: Will you say yes?

Conclusion: It’s Your Turn

The untold story of this generation is not just about what God has done—it’s about what He is still doing. And He wants to do it through you.

You don’t have to wait for the perfect moment. Revival starts wherever there is hunger. If you are willing to seek God, pray, and step out in faith, you will see His power move in your life.

This is your invitation. Will you be part of the story?

Known by name or by God?

KNOWN BY NAME OR KNOWN BY GOD Lessons From a Trending Controversy and the Christian Race In recent times, social media has once again been set ablaze by the controversy surrounding Blord and VeryDarkMan ( VDM)—a dispute that has sparked arguments about identity, ownership, legality, and recognition. Many people have chosen sides. Others have simply watched in silence. But beyond the online noise, there lies a deeper lesson—one that quietly mirrors the state of Christianity today. This is not about who is right or wrong. It is not about mockery or applause. It is about reflection. When the World Fights Over Names At the heart of the controversy is a simple yet powerful question: Who truly owns the name? Not by noise, not by popularity, but by legality and proof. In the world, recognition is backed by documents, registration, and lawful ownership. You may carry a name loudly, but if it is not legally yours, the law does not recognize your claim. The internet may cheer you, but legal...
