The Untold Story of the Modern Generation of Christians – Part 2

The Untold Story of the Modern Generation of Christians – Part 2

By Bro. Benney

Introduction: A Crossroads of Faith

A beloved sister in the Lord

The modern Christian generation stands at a crossroads. On one side, the call of God to holiness, righteousness, and unwavering faith. On the other, the pull of the world—entertainment, success, pleasure, and compromise.

Many have started the journey with zeal but have lost their way. Some remain in the faith, but their hearts are lukewarm.

A few, however, have chosen the narrow path, willing to suffer for Christ, even in a world that no longer values truth.

This is where the story continues.

The Rise of Lukewarm Christianity

I can recalls the words of Jesus in Revelation 3:16: “So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”

Lukewarm Christianity is one of the greatest threats to the modern church. Many Christians claim to love God but live in ways that contradict His Word.

They attend church on Sundays but indulge in ungodly lifestyles throughout the week. Prayer is replaced with social media, fasting with entertainment, and evangelism with self-promotion.

The enemy no longer persecutes with swords; instead, he numbs believers with distractions. Many have unknowingly built their lives on shaky foundations—faith that is shallow and easily shaken by trials.

Persecution in a New Form

Persecution today does not always come in the form of imprisonment or execution. Instead, it comes through rejection, social pressure, and the loss of opportunities.

Now listen to the story of a young believer who lost her job because she refused to compromise her Christian values. In a world where speaking biblical truth is considered offensive, standing for Christ has become costly.

But Jesus warned about this in John 15:18-19: “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.”

The question remains: Will this generation choose to suffer for Christ, or will they bow to the pressures of the world?

The Hidden Remnant: A Generation on Fire

Despite the struggles, not all hope is lost. There is a remnant—a generation that refuses to be silenced. These are young men and women who have chosen to live by faith, no matter the cost.

They are not interested in fame or comfort. They are more concerned with revival than reputation. They seek God in prayer, fast for spiritual breakthroughs, and boldly proclaim the gospel. They know that following Christ is not about being accepted by the world but about being faithful to the One who saved them.

I have witnessed this movement firsthand. I have seen young people crying out for revival, refusing to settle for lukewarm faith.

A Final Call to Stand

The untold story of this generation is still unfolding. Will it be a generation that compromises, or will it rise as a light in the darkness? Will it be a generation that bows to the world, or will it stand firm in faith?

My message is clear: God is calling this generation to holiness, to boldness, and to a deeper relationship with Him.

The question is—who will answer the call?

Or for the brothers: a slay queen who is also a Proverbs 31 woman, prays like Hannah, sings like Sinach, cooks like your mother, and has no past. Let’s be real. You don’t want a partner, you want a divine hybrid. ✨ God blesses your desires, but not your delusions. 🔹 2. You're Afraid of Responsibility You like the idea of marriage, but not the work of marriage. You want the honeymoon, the cute selfies, the matching outfits—but not the daily sacrifice, emotional mat...

Known by name or by God?

KNOWN BY NAME OR KNOWN BY GOD Lessons From a Trending Controversy and the Christian Race In recent times, social media has once again been set ablaze by the controversy surrounding Blord and VeryDarkMan ( VDM)—a dispute that has sparked arguments about identity, ownership, legality, and recognition. Many people have chosen sides. Others have simply watched in silence. But beyond the online noise, there lies a deeper lesson—one that quietly mirrors the state of Christianity today. This is not about who is right or wrong. It is not about mockery or applause. It is about reflection. When the World Fights Over Names At the heart of the controversy is a simple yet powerful question: Who truly owns the name? Not by noise, not by popularity, but by legality and proof. In the world, recognition is backed by documents, registration, and lawful ownership. You may carry a name loudly, but if it is not legally yours, the law does not recognize your claim. The internet may cheer you, but legal...
