The Untold Story of the Modern Generation of Christians – Part 3

By Bro. Benney

Introduction: The Cry for Revival

As I look at this modern generation of Christians, my heart burns with a deep burden. I see a people caught in the middle of a spiritual war—some fighting to remain in the light, others being pulled into the darkness of compromise. But in the midst of it all, I hear a cry—a desperate longing for something real, something powerful.

It is the cry for revival.

Many have settled for a powerless Christianity, but I know that God is not done with this generation. He is calling His people back to Him. He is stirring a hunger in the hearts of those who refuse to be lukewarm. The question is, who will answer the call?

The Road to Revival

Revival is not an event or a church program. It is not about emotional moments during a Sunday service. True revival is a fire that starts in the hearts of believers, burning away everything that is not of God.

I have seen young people on their knees, weeping for more of Jesus. I have witnessed gatherings where the presence of God was so thick that people could do nothing but repent. This is the kind of revival we need—not one based on hype, but one rooted in holiness.

1. Returning to the Secret Place

The first step to revival is returning to the secret place. Jesus said in Matthew 6:6, “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place.”

Many believers today are looking for God in conferences, crowds, and big events, but they have neglected their personal relationship with Him. I have seen people chase after preachers and worship bands, but their own prayer lives are empty.

If we want revival, we must learn to seek God in the quiet places—just us and Him. That is where transformation begins.

2. A Heart of Repentance

Revival cannot come without repentance. Many people want the fire of God, but they are unwilling to let go of sin.

I have met Christians who sing in the choir on Sunday but live in secret sin during the week. They want the presence of God, but they refuse to surrender their lives fully to Him. The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

God is ready to move, but He is waiting for His people to return to Him with pure hearts.

3. Boldness to Stand for Truth

I have seen young Christians afraid to speak up because they don’t want to offend others. They remain silent when their friends mock holiness, afraid of being labeled as “judgmental” or “old-fashioned.”

But I tell you this—the time for silence is over!

If we truly love Jesus, we must be willing to stand for Him. The apostles were beaten, imprisoned, and even killed for their faith, yet they never backed down. What excuse do we have?

Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.”

If we want revival, we must be unashamed of the truth. We must preach the gospel with boldness, no matter the cost.

A Generation Set Apart

I believe that God is raising up a remnant in this generation—men and women who will not compromise, who will not bow to the pressures of the world. These are the ones who will bring revival.

They may not be famous. They may not have large platforms. But they will be known in heaven and feared in hell.

I challenge you, my brother, my sister—will you be part of this remnant?

Will you be one of those who will seek God with all your heart? Will you be willing to live a life of purity, prayer, and boldness? Or will you be like the many who choose comfort over commitment?

The choice is yours.

Conclusion: The Fire is Spreading

The untold story of this modern generation is still being written. But I believe that revival is coming. I believe that God is about to move in a way we have never seen before. The question is—will you be ready?

This is not just another message. This is a call to action. If you hear God’s voice speaking to you, do not harden your heart. Get on your knees. Cry out for more of Him. Repent of anything that is holding you back.

Revival is here. Will you be part of it?

To Be Continued…

Would you like me to continue with Part 4, perhaps focusing on how to sustain personal revival and bring transformation to others?

I will love to hear from you in the comments section.

Known by name or by God?

KNOWN BY NAME OR KNOWN BY GOD Lessons From a Trending Controversy and the Christian Race In recent times, social media has once again been set ablaze by the controversy surrounding Blord and VeryDarkMan ( VDM)—a dispute that has sparked arguments about identity, ownership, legality, and recognition. Many people have chosen sides. Others have simply watched in silence. But beyond the online noise, there lies a deeper lesson—one that quietly mirrors the state of Christianity today. This is not about who is right or wrong. It is not about mockery or applause. It is about reflection. When the World Fights Over Names At the heart of the controversy is a simple yet powerful question: Who truly owns the name? Not by noise, not by popularity, but by legality and proof. In the world, recognition is backed by documents, registration, and lawful ownership. You may carry a name loudly, but if it is not legally yours, the law does not recognize your claim. The internet may cheer you, but legal...
